WiFi Menu Privacy Policy

WiFi Menu is a restaurant POS and ordering system for restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and food service teams. This policy explains how information is handled when restaurants use the WiFi Menu web, Windows, Android, iOS, local server, and optional Hybrid cloud features.

Information We Collect

Depending on how a restaurant uses WiFi Menu, the app may store restaurant and owner details, staff account details, branch information, menu items, menu photos, orders, order notes, car plate or table references, payment records, stock records, cash/card/split payment records, reports, activation details, device identifiers, sync status, and support logs.

How We Use Information

We use this information to run the POS, kitchen dashboard, menu management, stock management, reporting, staff permissions, restaurant activation, Hybrid cloud sync, subscription checks, support, security, and compliance features.

Offline and Hybrid Modes

WiFi Menu can work in offline mode on the restaurant device. In offline mode, business data is stored locally on the restaurant device. If the restaurant activates Hybrid mode, selected business data may sync with the WiFi Menu cloud database so the restaurant can use cloud, mobile, delivery, and backup features.

Sharing

We do not sell restaurant data. Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, such as Firebase, hosting, storage, and support services. These providers process data for app functionality, security, and support.

Data Security

Cloud data is transmitted over secure connections where supported by the platform. Local restaurant data is stored on the restaurant device, and the restaurant is responsible for protecting access to that device, backups, staff accounts, and local network.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on the restaurant device until the restaurant deletes it, resets the database, restores a backup, or uninstalls the software. Hybrid cloud data is retained while the restaurant account, subscription, support, accounting, security, or legal need continues. Restaurants may request correction, export, or deletion of cloud data.

Children

WiFi Menu is intended for restaurant business use and is not directed to children.
